I wrote this song after a huge disappointment. I was going to see a friend whom I hadn't seen in a long time. But it wasn't meant to be. This scenery is completely imagined - it is what happened inside of me rather than in real life.

The right time to be alone on the beach
The waves are splashing and the sky is grey
And you're way out of reach

I write your name into the wet sand
But as soon as I finished it's washed away again
Swallowed by these grey cold waves
Only to be banned from the sand
Sent to some nowhere-land

The sand is running through my fingers
It's blown away by the wind to the sea
What once was a castle now is a ruin

I watch my hopes float on the sea
Together with my foolish plans
